Dr. Bassem Abi Chakra is a Consultant General and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive expertise in minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, and surgical oncology. He has over 17 years of surgical experience, gained through extensive practice in Lebanon and abroad.

He graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium in 2005, and completed a Certificate of Specialized Training in General Surgery from the University of Versailles, Paris, France in 2006. His training and clinical experience have provided him with strong expertise in advanced laparoscopic and complex surgical procedures.
